The designer at Donovan Design, LLC is Mary Chapman Donovan. Ms. Donovan's design background includes
both commercial and residential experience. Her past work with healthcare-institutional organizations has given her great
insight into better ways to meet the changing needs of our baby boomer population.
Ms. Donovan began
her career in Interior Design shortly after receiving her bachelor's degree from Florida State University. While attending
FSU Mary studied multiple design specialities, child development, home management and fine art. This well balanced education
gave her a firm foundation to begin work in the field of interior design. Over the years her clients regularly
requested she expand her design services to cover more of their projects. She began by adding exterior color scheme consultation,
then specified container plantings and seasonal flower beds. When clients asked that she begin to assist them with entire
landscapes she knew it was time to return to college for more education. Ms. Donovan's second college
degree is in Environmental Horticulture with emphasis on Landscape Design. She can now assist her clients with their residential
projects from the front curb through the house to the back property line.
Today Mary Donovan brings decades of
experience to her clients' projects, her professional writing and her public speaking. Her Credentials:
